Daphne Arlene WADLIN

WADLIN, Daphne Daphne Arlene Wadlin of Calgary, AB, passed tragically in a car accident in Cape Breton, NS on July 30, 2008. Daphne was born in Toronto on April 12, 1954. Residing in Calgary for thirty years. At the time of the accident she was on vacation with her daughter and their dear friends while intending to explore our country. Daphne was first and foremost the proud mother of Taylor Marie Wadlin (twelve years old). She had earned great respect in her chosen field as a specialist in tax and accounting services. Greatly saddened by Daphne's passing are beloved daughter, Taylor Marie Wadlin, her mother Audrey of Toronto, her sisters Brenda Wadlin of Toronto, and Ruth McKiel of Calgary. Daphne was predeceased by her father Gurney, and her brother Richard. Daphne will be greatly missed by many who are proud to have known her. Daphne's passion for life, her commitment to others, and her strength and wisdom are just some of the many lessons she shared with all who loved her. A reception to Celebrate Daphne's Life will be held in Calgary on Friday, September 26, 2008, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Blackfoot Inn (5940 Blackfoot Tr. S.E.).
