HILL, Joseph William (Bill) - At his residence on Friday, December 19, 2008, Joseph William (Bill) Hill, age 86, of Sarnia, beloved husband of Irene (Apter) Hill. Dear father of Barry Hill (Priscilla) of Toronto, David Hill (Christine) and Janet Nicholson (Jim) all of London and Greg Hill (Anna) of Bridgen. Loving grandfather of Britt, Daniel, Andrew, Mark, Joel, Adrian and Alium. Brother of Oliver, Joyce and Ruth all in the United Kingdom. He was predeceased by his parents Mary and Bill Hill. Bill taught at Scits, Northern and then St. Clair High School for many years before retiring from the Lambton County Board of Education. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the R.A.F. from 1940 - 1946. Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at TRINITY ANGLICAN CHURCH, 1194 Murphy Road, on Monday, December 22nd at 11:00 am. Donations to the Lung Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation, V.O.N. or Trinity Anglican Church would be appreciated (cheques only please). Arrangements entrusted to the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME.
