OBITUARY BREEN MARIEN B.A., M.Sc., M.D.C.M., F.R.C.S. (C)On September 30, 2008 at the Royal Victoria Hospital at the age of eighty-three. He is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, Joan Golding, his children Stephen, Jennifer (Eric Helston), Charles (Katherine Sutherland), and Robin and their mother Ann Luke Claxton. His grandchildren Benjamin, Louis, William and Robert Marien, and Charlotte and Oscar Helston were his pride and joy. He was an accomplished and passionate surgeon, tennis and squash player. A memorial service will be held at the Unitarian Church of Montreal, 5035 de Maisonneuve Blvd. West, Friday, October 10 at 11:30 a.m. Special thanks to the kind staff at the RVH and Place Kensington.
