ROSE (COMPTON), Mildred (MilIie) - Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Thursday, October 9, 2008, at the age of 81. Predeceased by her first husband Garnet H. Compton (1989) and by her second husband Keith Rose (2008). Loving mother of Brenda, David (Debbie), Rodger (Barb), Allan (Kim). Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Gordon, Jonathan, Lisette, Arria, Lucas. Dear stepmother of Angie (Stuart), Karen (Paul), Rhonda (Dave), Kim. Loving step grandmother of Chris, Jeremy, Scott, Mitch, Lee, Becky, Daniel, Blake. Dear sister of Fen (Irene) Amey, Glen (Myrna) Amey, Doris (Howard) McGreer, Shirley (Art) Russell. Fondly remembered by many loving nieces and nephews. In keeping with Millie's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Millie's life will be held at Cataraqui United Church, Sydenham Rd., Kingston on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Friends will be received Friday, October 17, 2008 from 7:00-9::00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00- 11:00 a.m. at the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated for University Hospitals Kingston Foundation or to Cataraqui United Church.
