André ST. GERMAIN

ST. GERMAIN, André May 3, 1930 to October 7, 2008 - It is with great sadness that the family of André (Andy) St. Germain announce his peaceful passing in Orillia, Ontario. Beloved husband of Cécile (Lagrange) and predeceased by his first wife Joan. Loving father of Diane D'Altroy (Craig Green) of Oshawa and Paul St. Germain (Jane) of Richmond Hill. Loving grandfather of Jeffrey, Julie, Jason, Robert, John and Laura. Brother of René St. Germain (Francine). Andy moved to Orillia from Montreal in 1964 as Operations Manager for Lear Siegler Canada Limited and became President in 1971. In 1972 he co-founded Hunter Enterprises Orillia Limited. A past Commissioner and Chairman of the Orillia Water, Light & Power Commission and past Member, Director and President of the Orillia Kiwanis Club. Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Guardian Angels, 115 West St. N., Orillia on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 10 o'clock. Cremation to follow. Parish prayers will be said in the parlour Thursday evening at 6:45 p.m. If desired, memorial donations to the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
