Phyllis BLANCHARD

MURTHA, Phyllis - entered into rest peacefully at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, McLaughlin Site in Lindsay on Saturday, October 11, 2008. Phyllis Blanchard, in her 93rd year, was the beloved wife of the late Clair Murtha (1987). Much loved mother of Josette and her husband Ken Chase of Lindsay and Emilie and her husband Dr. Al Toguri of Toronto. Treasured grandmother of Heather Chase (Warren Michael) of Guelph, Brad Chase (Janice) of Oakville, Maretta Chase of Toronto, Ellen Storey (Monte) of Lindsay, Daniel Toguri of London, Clare Toguri of Toronto and Thomas Toguri of Nova Scotia. Fondly remembered by her great grandchildren Matthew and Joseph Michael and Katlin Chase. Predeceased by her sisters Alexandrine Lacey, Dr. Marion Blanchard, Sister Camille Blanchard, Alice Tangney and Grace Blanchard and by her brothers Adolphus Blanchard and Fr. Edward Blanchard. Dearly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends were invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial from ST. MARY'S CHURCH, Lindsay on Monday, October 13 at 11:00 A.M. Interment was held at St. Mary's Cemetery, Lindsay.
