TOMA, Beatrice - At Brantwood Nursing Home, Burlington, on Monday October 20, 2008, Beatrice Toma, age 83, of Burlington and formerly Chatham, beloved wife of the late Thomas Toma (2002). Born in St. Clair Shores, Michigan in 1924, Beatrice is retired from Zellers after working there for many years. Loving mother of Karen Pluard of Puce, Dianne Scodellaro (Denis) of Burlington, Kathy Ducharme of Tecumseh, Rita Toma of Phoenix Arizona, Beatrice Toma of Ingersoll, Patty Toma of Kelowna B.C., Lorraine Toma-Jones of Mississauga, Tom Toma (Dianne) of Chatham, John Toma of Phoenix Arizona, Yvonne Toma of Mississauga. Sadly missed by 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by a son Chuck Toma (1992). Friends and relatives may call at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, where Parish Prayers will be offered at 1:45 pm on Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday October 24, 2008 at 10:00 am in St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
