Doris HOCKING It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Doris Emma Pauline Hocking, who died peacefully surrounded by her family at the Hanover and District Hospital on Tuesday, October 28, 2008, in her 91st year. She will be dearly missed by her son David Hocking and his wife Lorna Eadie, daughter Mary Flood and her husband Doug, grandchildren Stephanie Hocking, Nathan Flood, Michelle Flood, great-granddaughters Ashley Magwood and Taylor Magwood. She is fondly remembered by her brother Carl Fischer and nieces and nephews and their families. She is predeceased by her husband William Hocking, her parents William and Elizabeth Fischer and her two sisters, Thelma Sandford and Norma Fischer. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at the St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church Parlor on Friday, October 31, 2008 at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in memory of Doris Hocking can be made to the Hanover and District Hospital Foundation and/ or to the Hanover Regional Recreation Complex and would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
