Ursula DAGMAR

DECHERT, Ursula Dagmar 1926 - 2008 For 82 years our beloved wife, mother, Oma and friend, Ursula lived a full and rich life, which ended peacefully at her home on October 16, 2008. Throughout her many life experiences she kept a positive outlook and was admired for her sense of humor and sunny personality. Uschi was happiest in her home and garden where she puttered about with artistic flair. She was married to Erwin John for fifty-nine years and together they travelled the world. Left to remember Uschi is her loving husband, Erwin; her children Yvonne (Heinz), Thomas (Carmen) and her grandchildren Alexander, Naomi, Nicole and Eric. At the request of family a private Memorial Service will be held. The family would like to thank the many friends who have expressed their love and affection in so many different ways, it is much appreciated and will always be remembered. We would also like to thank the staff at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, Foothills Unit 42B and home and palliative care for their compassion and attentiveness. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family at www.mem.com . Little did we know that morning God was going to call you home In life we loved you dearly In death we do the same It broke our hearts to lose you You did not go alone For part of us went with you The day God called you home You left us beautiful memories Your love is still our guide And though we cannot see you You're always by our side Our family chain is broken And nothing seems the same But as God calls us one by one The chain will link again.
