EBBESEN, Ron Ron Ebbesen passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 embraced by the love of his family and friends. A Celebration of Ron's Life will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at the Airdrie Town & Country, 275 Jensen Drive N.E. As most people know, Ron's passion, next to his family, was hockey. Please wear your jersey or coaches uniform if you have one. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Calgary Health Trust, South Health Campus ICU Fund, No. 800, 11012 Macleod Trail S.E., Calgary, AB T2J 6A5. It is our hope that on October 29, 2008, road hockey games will break out everywhere. Ron will love that and if you listen closely you will hear him say.."It's a great day for hockey."
