Yvonne Lamothe Passed away on / Décédé(e) le May 31, 2008 It is with great sorrow that the family announces her death on Saturday, May 31st at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital, Long Term Care Unit at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband, Armand; one daughter, Claire; one granddaughter, Danielle; and by one great-grandson, Ricky. She is survived by five children: André Lamothe (Oneilda) , Réjean Lamothe (Lucette) , Suzanne Boivin (Guy) , Nicole Leblanc (Jean-Yves) and Léo Lamothe (Tammy) ; 12 grandchildren: Ron, Yves, Derek, Jesse, Brandon and Connor Lamothe, Marc St-Jean, Darby Frenette, Nanette Leblanc, Cid, Monique and Mélanie Boivin; as well as 21 great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Lebel and the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital Long Term Care staff for their compassion and genuine caring as well as the excellent standard of care. We would also like to thank Father Léo Papineau and the dedicated volunteers who brought the Holy Eucharist to Mom on a regular basis. Remembrance donations to the SRF Hospital, Radiology Department or the Long Term Care facility would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends at the Ste-Gertrude parish hall on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. and on Tuesday, June 3rd beginning from 9 a. m. The funeral service will follow at 10:30 a. m. at the Ste-Gertrude Church with Father Léo Papineau officiating.
