Maurice G. Gauthier After a short illness, Maurice G. Gauthier died peacefully at the Englehart and District Hospital on June 5, 2008. He was 94. Mr. Gauthier is survived by his wife Magella Grisé; children Lucille Petcoff, Jean-Guy, Ambroise (Colette Léveillé) , Jean-Maurice (Pauline Rivard) , Rene (Nancy Colella) , Roch (Marie-Rose Boileau) and Luc (Cheryl Bahry) ; grandchildren Michael (Jacqueline) , Martin (Kelly) , Marc (Sandra) , Lesley-Anne (Chris) , Chantal, Joanne, Pierre (Amanda) , Lynn, Carol (Rob) , Louis (Kim) , Doris (Marc) , Claire(Barry) , Sarah, Mathieu, Anne, Emilie and Richard; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by wife Priscilla Sasseville. His passion for baking, gardening and fishing will always remain in his family’s memory. At Mr. Gauthier’s request there was no visitation at the funeral home. The mass was held June 9 at St. Jean Baptiste Church in Earlton, followed by interment of ashes in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Englehart and District Hospital would be appreciated by the family. The funeral arrangements were entrusted to McDonald Funeral Home in Englehart.
