Donald Dunphy Date de décès: Jeudi, le 7 août, 2008 It was like a script he might have wished he had written: Passed away, in his sleep, in his own home, in his own bed, at the age of 91, in Hawkesbury, Ontario on August 7th, 2008, still knowing who he loved and who loved him. Donald is predeceased by his wife and soulmate of 48 years, Margaret (MacMillan) in 2002 and son (Donald) Malcolm in 2005. He is survived by his daughter Bonnie Jean Kohler (Hagan) and grandchildren Erin and Patrick of West Palm Beach, Florida, son James (Gale) and grandchildren Heather and Alex of Calgary, Alberta, daughter-in-law Suzanne of Gatineau, Québec and his granddaughter Jennifer of Granby, Québec. Donald was born in Montréal January 15, 1917 and lived on Draper Avenue in NDG. He moved to Granby, Québec to marry Margaret and raise his family. He moved to Mississauga, Ontario in 1975, and then to Hawkesbury in 1998. Special thanks to Brian and Terry Provencal and Richard Pilon of Hawkesbury for their continuous support in the past few years. "O ye whose cheek the tear of pity stains, Draw near with pious rev'rence, and attend! Here lies the loving husband's dear remains, The Tender father, and the gen'rous friend. The pitying heart that felt for human woe, The dauntless heart that fear'd no human pride, The friend of man-to vice alone a foe; For 'ev'n his failings lean'd to virtue's side" R. Burns 1784
