Irene Marie MURPHY

Irene Marie (née Murphy) Doyle passed away peacefully in her 87th year on August 6, 2008, at the Hamilton General Hospital. Much loved mother of Russell, Irene is also survived by brother James of Cobalt, Ontario. Irene was recently predeceased by husband Earl, sisters Kay, Isabel, Olga, and brother Russell. Irene moved down to Hamilton from Northern Ontario to work at Westinghouse Canada, and was involved in the Catholic Women’s League at Corpus Christi Parish for many years. A funeral service took place at 10 a. m. Saturday, August 9, at Our Lady of Lourdes, 416 Mohawk Road East. A service will take place Friday, August 15, at Saint Patrick’s Church, Cobalt, Ontario. Burial will follow. Special thanks to the great staff at Shalom Village for all their love over the last two years. The family would appreciate donations to the Parkinson’s Society Canada.
