HEMBRUFF, (Robert) Lyle - The family announces with sorrow his death on August 30, 2008 at the Penticton Hospice, Penticton, B. C. in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Stella of Hedley B. C. Loving father of Kelly Hembruff (Suanna) of Ottawa, Karen Anne Darling of Kitchener, Gary Doucette (Norma) of Port Alberni, B. C. and Monty Doucette of Vernon B. C. Son of the late Audrey and Beatrice (nee Grant) Hembruff of Manitowaning. Dear brother of Joyce Sprack (Brian) of Manitowaning, Allan (Lyn) Hembruff of Levack, Mary Ellen Roffel (Frank) of Abbotsford B. C. and Lynn Hembruff of Vancouver B. C. Predeceased by brothers Grant and Randy. Lyle is also survived by 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Lyle was born and raised in Manitowaning and lived in Ontario and British Columbia. He enjoyed his work as a carpenter and was an avid hockey fan and never missed a Canucks game. Private family service to be held in Hedley, B. C.
