ENGLISH, James “Jim“ - Jim English of Meaford passed away at the Meaford Hospital on Saturday, November 1, 2008, in his 58th year. Loving father of Scott English of Meaford and Shawn English of Owen Sound. Sadly missed grandfather of Abby. Brother of Shirley Simmonds of Chatsworth and Sharon (Brent) English-Carbert of Owen Sound. Predeceased by a brother-in-law, Bud Simmonds. Fondly remembered by his several nieces and nephews. A memorial funeral service, officiated by Reverend Judith Oliver, will be conducted at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 48 Boucher Street E., in Meaford on Friday, November 7 at 11a.m. followed by interment of Jim's cremated remains at Lakeview Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home the hour prior to service.
