HAGYARD, Charles - Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday, November 1, 2008 in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Nora (1999) of 60 years. Loving father of Janice (Hap) Lafferty and Rick (Susan) Hagyard of Shelborne. Cherished grandfather of fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Charles was a member of the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry from 1940-1946, as well as the Barton Lodge of Hamilton, the Sunnylea Lodge in Toronto and the Scottish Rite. He was a long time member of Christ Anglican Church, Bobcaygeon. Special thanks Rev. Canon Gordon Kinkley and Dr. Dennis Whitty. Arrangements entrusted to GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. A funeral service will be held at Christ Anglican Church, Bobcaygeon on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 1 p.m with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Verulam Cemetery, Bobcaygeon.
