Robert Isidore JOLY

JOLY, Robert Isidore 2008-11-08 Mr. Robert Isidore Joly, age 80 years, a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away in St. Joseph’s hospital on Thursday, November 6th, 2008. Robert was born and raised in Barraute, Quebec. His family later moved to Ste. Claire de Colombourg. As a young man he left the family farm to work in the forest industry. As the years went by he alternated professions in the forest and mining industries and retired as a miner at the age of 62. He will be sadly missed by his wife Jerry, son Frank (Rita), grandson’s Bruce and Adam, sisters Yolande Bouffard Joly, Paquerette (Jean-Guy) Marcoux, Fernande (Gerard) Frenette and brother Alcide Joly. He was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Oleisie, brothers Leonidas, Fernand, Jean-Guy and Yvon and sister Gabrielle. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 11th, 2008 in Our Lady of Loretto church, 290 Grenville Ave., at 1:00 pm with Father Ray officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
