De FOREST, John David (Jack), It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jack at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 in his 82nd year. Loving husband of Betty Ann (Schiller) De Forest. Dear father of Don and his wife Jacquie. Loving grandfather of Erin and Shannon. Also survived by his brother Eric and his wife Margaret. Predeceased by his brothers Walter and Donald. Jack worked at General Motors for 47-1/2 years retiring as supervisor in the main tool room in 1988. Friends will be received at the Niagara St. Chapel of BUTLER FUNERAL HOME, 424 Niagara St. (south of Scott) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, September 2 at 11 a.m. Interment Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
