McKEE, June Dorothy (nee: Laplante) - Passed away Monday, November 10, 2008 at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington in her 88th year, with her loving daughters by her side. June was predeceased by her husband Owen Joseph McKee and her son Richard Owen McKee. Beloved mother of Maureen Rathwell (Bruce) of Ancaster, Barbara Hutt (Bryce) of Burlington, James McKee (Mary) of Cornwall and Kathryn Cole (John) of Burlington. Dear mother-in-law of Suzanne McKee of Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. June was predeceased by her brothers Harold, Edwin, Ernest, Lawrence, and her sisters Ida Gauthier, Pearl Saucier, Lillian Beaudoin, Ellen Simpson and Mildred Laplante. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m., with Vigil prayers at 4 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Brant Street (at Blairholm) Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation. A Memorial Service will be held in Cornwall at a later date.
