William James ATKINSON

ATKINSON, William (Bill) James - Passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Village by the Grand, Dunnville, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Marion May (McRobb). Dear father of Robert (Karen) of Guelph and Linda Smith (Ken Craig) of Hamilton. Loved grandpa of Brian Atkinson (Alicia), Derrick Tonkin, Vanessa Tonkin (Luke P.) and great grandson Ethan. Predeceased by his sister Vera Martin and grandson Jeffery. Bill was born and raised in Niagara Falls and was active in many organizations including the Stamford Lions Club and Association for Community Living. Bill retired to a lake residence near Dunnville in 1989 and enjoyed woodworking, stone polishing and bird watching. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 142 Dunnville.
