Sydney George DOVE

DOVE, Sydney George Born October 6, 1923, died Thursday October 30, 2008 at the Montfort Hospital, Ottawa. He served in the RAF (1941-1946) as a wireless air gunner and the RCAF (1946-1969) as a Radar specialist for NORAD. Beloved husband of 64 years to Iris (Ritcey). Devoted Father to Michael (Lyness) of Gloucester, Elizabeth (Glenn Harris) of Calgary, pre-deceased by Sharon (Jos Cleary) of Gloucester. Dear Grandfather to Allan Dove, Tamara (Andrew) Dove-Bradley, Christopher Cleary, Jonathan and Laura Harris. A much loved sister-in-law Gwen Ritcey, and our great joy, Parker Bradley, our Great Grandson. Friends may call at the Hulse, Playfair & McGarry St. Laurent Chapel, 1200 Ogilvie Road, Ottawa on Thursday, November 6, 2008 from 2 4 PM and 7 9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held at Epiphany Anglican Church, 1290 Ogilvie Road, Friday, November 7 at 11 o'clock.
