McNULTY, Bill (William) Michael June 29, 1944 to November 9, 2007 Bill, The moment that you died, My heart split in two, The one side filled with memories, The other died with you. I often lay awake at night, When the world is fast asleep, And take a walk down memory lane, With tears upon my cheeks. Remembering you is easy, I do it every day, But missing you is a heartache, That never goes away. I hold you tightly within my heart, And there you will remain. Life has gone on without you, But it will never be the same. Your last parting wish, I would like to have heard, And breathed in your ear, My last parting word. Only those who have lost Are able to tell The pain in the heart At not saying farewell. I miss you dearly. Your Loving Wife, Bonnie Dad, Gone, dear father, gone forever, How we miss your smiling face; But you left us to remember, None on earth can take your place. A happy home we once enjoyed, How sweet the memory still, But death has left a loneliness, The world can never fill. Love Your Children, Anne-Marie, Melinda, Tamara, Shaun and families Published in the Ottawa Citizen on 11/8/2008
