J. Donald CALDWELL

CALDWELL, DR. J. Donald M.D. FRCPSC Passed away peacefully with family by his side, on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at age 95. Beloved husband of Mary (Steen), much loved father of Don (Valerie, deceased) of Toronto, Judie (Tom Bryant) of Kingston, Susan (Bob Wilson) and Tom (Cheryl). Proud grandfather of John, Michael, Kate, Rob, Erika, Julia, Megan, and Samantha. Survived by one sister, Frances Beattie. Graduated from Glebe Collegiate in 1931 and the University of Toronto, School of Medicine in 1937. He served with the RCAF from 1942 to 1945. He then practiced family medicine in Ottawa for 40 years. Long time member of the Royal Ottawa Golf Club, Camp Fortune Ski Club and Gyro Club. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 17, at 2 p.m. Friends and family are welcome to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Ave., at Richmond Rd., 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. prior to service.
