Peggy BARR

ROBB, Peggy "Hosie" (Barr) Our wee Irish "Hosie" passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at the age of 89. Born in Ashfield, Northern Ireland she emigrated to Osgoode, ON. in 1928 with her parents George and Maggie Barr and her 3 brothers Tommy, George and Sammy. There she married the late Andrew Robb and had 4 children, Colleen (late Bernie Driscoll), Barry (Ann), Bob (Pat) and Debbie (Rick Kalinowski). Hosie was a loving grandmother to Mike (Danielle), Kerry, Erin (Keith Glass), Sueanne (Brian Allen), Jamie (Val), Bill (Diane), Angie (Rob Garner), Ben and Emilie. Cherished great-grandmother to Lily & Luca Garner, Jesse & Sophie Robb, Logan Allen and Ivy Jane Glass. Peggy was a proponent of strong family ties, unconditional love and loved the Lord. She was a great role model for all of us. We wish to thank the caring and compassionate staff at Bayfield Manor. Family and friends will be honouring Peggy's memory at the Daley Family Funeral Home, 6971 Bank Street, (between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Monday in the Chapel for Service at 11 am. Interment Rideauvale Cemetery. Those wishing may make donations to the Osgoode Baptist-Vernon United Church, Box 10 Vernon, ON.
