Joan STRUDWICK

HUNTER (nee Strudwick), Joan - Passed peacefully with her family by her side at the North Bay General Hospital on Friday, November 21st, 2008 at the age of 77. She was the loving wife of the late Fred Lee Hunter and the daughter of the late Ernest Walter Strudwick and the late Evelyn Dufour Jehan. Loving mother to Shelley (Bob) Nickerson of Powassan, Bonnie Miller of Barrie and Robert (Carm) Hunter of Barrie. She leaves behind her sisters: Grace Barbour of Toronto, Jan (Gord) Greaves of Toronto and Barb (Dave) Fortner of Cambridge and will be sadly missed by her grandchildren: Sheena, Braden, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Kristi, Sierra and Karlee and her great grandchildren: Stevon and Rylee and by many nieces and nephews. Joan is also predeceased by her special friend Earle Bonany. Family and friends may call at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Monday, November 24th, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will follow on Tuesday, November 25th, 2008 at the funeral home chapel at 11 am. Rev. Kathy McCallum officiating. A cremation will take place at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. Intombment of ashes will take place at a later time at the All Saints Mausoleum. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
