LAPIERRE, Alton Joseph - Peacefully at Marianhill on Saturday, November 8th, 2008 in his 85th year. Alton Joseph Lapierre (World War II Veteran), beloved husband of Lois Janet Lapierre (nee Heggart). Loving father of Susan. Caring grandfather of Ann Margetts of Norwood. Dear brother of Clayton (Nellie), Leroy (Diane) and Fred Jr. (Colleen), all of Pembroke and Luella (Dave) Purvis of Chelmsford. Visitation at the NEVILLE FUNERAL HOME, 491 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday after 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at The Church of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, Pembroke on Wednesday, November 12th, 2008 at 11 a.m., followed by cremation. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetic Association or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
