Beloved husband of June (Rutledge) Montgomery. Dear father of Sharon Montgomery of Wingham, Greg Montgomery of Goderich Twp., Sheila Montgomery of Goderich and Valarie Montgomery-Dunlop (Brian) of Colborne Twp. Loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Brother of Helen Mitchell of Goderich. A Funeral Service was held at McCallum & Palla Funeral Home, Goderich on Thursday August 7, 2008 at 1:30 PM. Visitation one hour prior to service. Rev. Gwen Nicol-Macdonald officiated. Interment Maitland Cemetery. Pallbearers were Brian Dunlop, Stewart Dunlop, Monty Mitchell, Mike Long, Denis Lassaline and Ed Brunk. Flowerbearer was Emma Dunlop. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation gratefully acknowledged.
