Mrs. Edna Mary Margaret Metzger May 25, 1911 - October 26, 2008 - Metzger, Edna Mary Margaret (nee Ryan) May 25, 1911 - October 26, 2008 Beloved wife of the late Garfield Lewis Metzger. Cherished mother of Bernice Townley (Walter), Marlene, Karen Dickey (the late Fred). Dear grandmother of Scott Townley (Lynn), Craig Townley (Mary), Karen Alonso (Francisco), Travis Dickey (Susy), Jason Dickey (Stephanie). Dear great grandmother of John and Joseph Alonso, Nicole and Hannah Townley, Diego Riggi Dickey. Predeceased by her parents Thomas Ryan and Maria Gleason Ryan of Ryanville, Quebec, and her siblings: Matthew, Mary, Willard, Patrick, and Thomas. Visitation will be held at the HIGHLAND FUNERAL HOME, Markham Chapel, 10 Cachet Woods Court (northeast corner of 16th Avenue & Hwy 404), 905-887-8600 on Wednesday, October 29th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 30th at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church, 3898 Hwy 7 (Hwy 7 east of Warden), at 11 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. A reception will follow the interment and will take place in the Arbor Lounge of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Francis Table, 1322 Queen Street West, Toronto, ON L6K 1L4, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A book of condolence may be signed below.
