David Harry RULE

Mr. David Harry Rule April 26, 1944 - November 1, 2008 - David Harry Rule It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Harry Rule, age 64 years, of Marks Street after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He passed away in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, November 1, 2008. David was born April 26, 1944 in Port Arthur and grew up on Vickers Street and was a life long resident of Thunder Bay. He spent most of his working career with 7 Up and Pepsi Canada. David enjoyed camping and fishing at Lake Shebandowan, Sibley and Come By Chance Resort. David is predeceased by his parents John and Mamie Rule, brothers Gerald, Johnny, Ronald and Billy. David will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jacqueline, daughter Vida, son-in-law Jeff, grandchildren Ella Jean and Owen Davy, twin brother Dennis, brother Kenny, sisters Blanche Kelly, Christina Lotus and Eleanor (husband Cal) Dring, numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 11:00 am at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church on Brodie Street. In lieu of flowers the family asks for your kind donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. He was a wonderful husband, father, Papa, brother and friend and will be missed forever.
