TICHENOFF, Bill W. - Peacefully at Bluewater Health Palliative Care on Saturday, November 15, 2008 with family by his side, Bill Tichenoff, in his 70th year passed away. Cherished husband to Wilma Tichenoff and the late Janet Rose Tichenoff (nee Hill). Loving father of Bill and Lisa Tichenoff, Tracy and Tim Marut, Darren and Heather Tichenoff. Grandfather of Emily, Annalise, Alexander, Ethan, Taylor, Trevor, Aaron, Andrew and Adam. Dear brother of Paul Tichinoff of Edmonton, the late Anne Whitworth of Forest and Olga Rome of Minden. Bill was a retiree of Dow Chemical and was a leader in Sarnia Minor Hockey and director of International Silver Stick hockey for many years. Bill was the Past President of the Royal Canadian Legion in Wyoming and enjoyed being a part of the Wyoming community. He was an avid outdoorsman. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia. A Legion service will be held at 6:30 p.m. prior to the evening visitation. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Sarnia. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Wyoming Legion.
