KIRKBY, Earl - Entered into rest after a courageous battle with heart disease at the ICU at Kingston General Hospital on November 19, 2008. Beloved husband and best friend of Diane (de Wit). Dear father of Tony (Karen) and loving step dad to Alicia and Amy, grandfather of Kyle. Brother of Faye McDougall (Al) and Pat Milligan, nephew of Eric Kirkby. He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Lorne Kirkby and mother Pearl Sabins. Family and friends may pay their respects at the IRVINE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 4 James Street East Brockville from Saturday after 12 noon until 1 pm when a celebration of Earl's life will be held in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations to the Cardiology Department of the Kingston General Hospital or the Centennial Road Standard Church will be gratefully acknowledged.
