Anne Mildred FOWLER

PRYDE, Anne Mildred (nee Fowler) Peacefully passed away at Guelph General Hospital on Friday November 14, 2008 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Pryde. Predeceased by brothers Donald, John, and Harold and sister Betty, all raised on the family farm outside Hampton, NB by May and Elisha Fowler. Loving aunt of Betty, Don, Jay, Sue, Nancy and Bill. A 1937 graduate of the University of New Brunswick, Anne resided in Ottawa from 1959 to 2003. As an elementary school teacher for 37 years in Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal and NB, Anne was greatly fulfilled by her specialization in remedial reading. Anne and Stan were long standing members of the Ottawa Hunt Club, where Anne played golf most days over 25 happy retirement years. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street Ottawa Wednesday November 19 from 1:30 p.m. until Service time in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Donations in Anne's memory to the Alzheimer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
