RABY, Napolidor 2008-11-24 After a courageous battle with cancer, Mr. Napolidor Raby, age 88 years, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospice, with his family by his side. Napolidor was born and raised in Lyster, Quebec and was one of 16 children. In 1959 he moved to Geraldton with his family and worked with Kimberly Clark until his retirement in 1985. In 1986 they moved to Thunder Bay. Napolidor was a long-standing active member of the Knights of Columbus. He and his wife Rita enjoyed travelling extensively and had many lasting friendships. Napolidor loved the outdoors, gardening, and family times. Napolidor is survived by his children Rose-Hélène (Len) Tremblay, Pierre (Lata), Michel (Cyndy), Ghislain (Theresa) and Sylvie (Carl) Muller; grand children Lee-Anne (Randy) Camlin, Tina (Alain) Lefebvre, Jessica Raby, Shauna and Travis Muller and Katie Raby; great grand children Phillip, Courtney, Rachel Camlin, and Julianna and Sofia Lefebvre. Also survived by three brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. Napolidor was predeceased by his wife Rita (2007), his parents, twelve siblings and grandson Richard (1981). The family extends heartfelt thank you to the doctors and staff at TBRHSC, Bayshore staff and St. Joseph‘s Hospice, all who treated dad with respect and dignity. Funeral services for the late Mr. Napolidor Raby will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 with family and friends assembling at Corpus Christi R.C. Church for Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM celebrated by Fr. Richard Kowalchuk. Entombment to follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be after 6:00 PM Tuesday evening in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley St. at Algoma with Vigil Prayers offered at 7:00 PM.
