SAUNDERS, Helen E. (nee Gilliland) Peacefully on November 1, 2004. Born in Victoria, June 1, 1919. Loving wife of Doug Saunders for 59 years. Dear mother of Katharine/Kathy (Bob Lafleur). Helen is survived by her sister Tress Johns of Victoria and is predeceased by her parents, brothers Harry and Gordon and four sisters Mabel, Effie, Claire and Marjorie. She will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and Cheryl (John), Mark (Terri), Kelly (Johnny) and great-grandchildren Matt, David and Andrea and many friends. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (900 Counter Street, Kingston 613-544-3411) on Friday, November 5, 2004 at 2 p.m. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service.
