Wife of the late Russel L. MacLean. Born in Northam on February 3, 1922, the daughter of the late Russell and Devona (Birch) Ramsay. Cherished mother of Marion (Garth) MacGougan; Marlene (Walter) Palmer; Paul (Gail), all of Dartmouth, N.S.; and Kenneth (Sandy) Hall, Chelmsford, Mass. Loving grandmother of Colin Palmer, Andrew Palmer, Rodney Palmer, Penny (Jason) Rennie, Nathan MacGougan, Malcom MacGougan, Amanda (Doug) Mosher, Ryan MacLean,Christopher (Susan) Hall and Michele (Thomas) Anderson. Great-grandmother to Keiran, Kacee, Haillie, Leah, Jacob, Abigail, Evan, Kyle, Matthew and Michael. Sister-in-law of Dorothy MacLean, Elga Ramsay and Bernice Ramsay, all of Summerside. Predeceased by her sons, Paul Edward, in infancy; and twins, David and Kevin in infancy, as well as brothers and sisters, Edna, Maude, Alger, George, Ray, Ernest and Rita. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel, with visiting hours Sunday, November 30, 2008, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral in the chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the Lot 14 United Church Cemetery. Memorials to the Lung Association or Lot 14 United Cemetery would be appreciated.
