BRUCE Allan Barrie Born in Glasgow 1928, passed away peacefully December 25, 2008 after courageously battling cancer. His zest for life and beautiful voice will be remembered today, tomorrow and forever. Allan was a loving husband of Ilda and devoted father of Carla and Karen. He was an adoring grandfather of Alexandra, Nicolas, Olivia and Emma. Cherished father-in-law of Gavin, Mario, and younger brother of John. A Funeral Service will be held at the Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home Chapel, 5301 Decarie Blvd. (corner Isabella) on Tuesday, December 30 at 11:00 am. His family would like to thank the caring staff of the oncology clinic at the RVH, NDG CLSC, and the most compassionate care of the West Island Palliative Care Residence, Kirkland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation and/or West Island Palliative Care Residence.
