Walter SIMS

SIMS, Walter Passed away peacefully, on Sunday, December 28th, 2008 at La Maison Bonsejour, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Joyce Carpenter and son of the late Florence Hopson and of the late Richard Sims. He also leaves behind his 5 children: Susan (Bryan Wall), Diane (Dan Hillock), Richard (Valle Gomez), David (Shelley Kyle) and Deborah (Rory O'Connor); 13 grandchildren; his sister Irene (late Ralph Karon); 2 brothers-in-law: James (Patricia McTague) and Guy (Hannelore Smith) and many nephews, nieces and friends. There will be no visitations at the funeral home. The celebration of prayers will be held at LA COOPRATIVE FUNERAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, 1369, La Verendrye Blvd., in Gatineau on Friday, January 2nd at 11 a.m. The family will receive condolences at 10:30 a.m. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
