SPULING, Christian Karl Our beloved husband, treasured father and adored Opa, went to be with the Lord on December 27, 2008 at the age of 81 years. A fighter to the end, his life always was and will remain a true testament of how one's will and spirit can overcome life's obstacles. He is deeply missed by his wife of fifty-seven years, Frieda - who he cherished for always being at his side; daughters Elisabeth, Christa and Karin - who always knew that they were three very special girls; sons-in-law Dave Sales, Floyd Jenkins and Dave Neufeldt - who were genuinely appreciated and loved; and grandchildren Greg, Brad, Amy, Kurt, Sam and Clay - who meant the world to him. - Always and forever in our hearts - Funeral Services will be held at Renfrew Baptist Church (1204 Renfrew Drive N.E., Calgary) on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. If friends and family so desire, donations in memory of Christian K.
