FINSTAD, Peter Wessel Peter's family is saddened to announce his passing on November 29, 2008, after a brief illness. Born September 1, 1925, as the youngest of four children, he was predeceased by his parents, one sister, Gladys Hunter and son-in-law Ron Hume. Peter leaves behind Ona Finstad, Calgary, AB; Shirley Finstad, Qualicum Beach, BC; his children, Val Hume, Cochrane, AB; Judith (Bill Isaac) of Abbotsford, BC; Glen (June), Leduc, Alberta; Donna (David LaFoy), Calgary, AB; Laura Neigel (Bob Morrison), St. Albert, AB; Peter (Janet), St. Albert, AB; fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, two sisters, Selma Ekstrand, Los Angeles, CA; Olga Clark, Saskatoon; numerous nieces and nephews. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, 15 Floor, 8215 - 112 Street, Edmonton, AB. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Peace Lutheran Church, 4606 - 48 Street, Leduc, AB. (Phone 1-780-986-2688).
