OBITUARY James Drennan (Dan) MacArthur, B.ScF. Ing. F. Passed away peacefully on Monday, December 8, 2008 at the age of eighty-five in the West Island Palliative Care Residence with his family at his side. Beloved and generous husband of 53 years to Isabella (nee Wolff). Cherished and devoted father to Peter (Karen Jarman), Mary and Jonathan (Jane Hsieh). Adored and exceptional Grandpa to Alexander, Stephanie, Sarah and Benjamin. Special brother to Mary (Rhodes Oulton). Dan was born in Morin Heights, grew up in Arundel, graduated from UNB and was a long-time resident of Baie d'Urfe, Professor at Macdonald College, Curator, Morgan Arboretum, and member of Ste. Anne's Association of War Veterans, having served with the 48th Highlanders in Italy and Holland. A summer memorial service to celebrate Dan's life will be announced. The family wishes to thank Dr. P. Cholette. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to West Island Palliative Care Residence.
