HOLMES, Myrtle (nee Taylor) Peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 with family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Edward Holmes. Loving mother of Catherine, Ed, Dianne, Valerie, Susan, Debra, Johnny, Joanne, Glenn, and Teresa. Proud Nanny to Jennifer, Natasha, Tanya, David, Laura, Karen, Shannon, Kandas, Jeff, Vanessa, Amanda, Shawn, Cheryl, Krista, Melissa, Jamie, William, Jordan, Alicia and Braden, and big Nan to 13 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa) from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, December 12th. A celebration of Myrtle's life will be held on Saturday, December 13th in the Pinecrest Chapel at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Make-a-Wish Foundation or Ottawa Deaf Center would be appreciated.
