PINKNEY, Audrey Grace - At her home, North Bay on Wednesday December 3rd, 2008 while in her 84th year. Audrey (nee Mewett) was predeceased by her beloved husband Raymond. The proud and loving mother of Terry (Mavis) of Callander, Janice Zylstra (Kneale Kinrade) of Brantford, and Steve (Annette) of Gananogue, Audrey will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jennifer (Todd), Christopher (Laura), Allan (Trisha), Brenden and Dylan and her great grandchildren Kolton, Brittany, Hayley, Noah, and William. Predeceased by her brothers Leslie (late Moira) & Ronald (late Vi) and sister Gladys Elston (late Ken) she was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters in law Pat & Rita Gavin, Mel & Hazel Carvell, Gordon Pinkey (late Mary) and Doreen Sluman. Also survived by her brother in law George Sluman of Florida. Born in North Bay Audrey was the daughter of the late Albert and Elsie Mewett. A wonderful knitter & baker she was also a voracious reader. She will be deeply missed by her many friends at MacKay Homes on Olive Street and her many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from city hall) on Friday afternoon and evening from 2- 4 & 7 - 9 pm. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 am on Saturday December 6th. Interment to be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
