WENDT, Rev. Newell Fredrick - Suddenly at Victoria hospital on December 22, 2008, Rev. Newell Fredrick Wendt of London in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Ruby Wendt (nee Wortman) (1994) and Elsie Wendt (nee Richardson) (1968). Loving father of Samuel Wendt (Gail), And stepfather of Reed Wortman (Kathy) and Mary Lynn Rebeiro (Sab). Dear grandfather of Carolyn Wendt and Fraser Wendt (Jerako) and step grandfather of Lisa Christy (Graeme) Alison Begley (Tom), Kerri Begley, Justin Livingston, Nathan Livingston, Danielle Hull and Amanda Rebeiro and will be sadly missed by 5 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by step son David Wortman and step grandson Scott Wortman. He was active as a minister for the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada for over 50 years. A special thank you for the staff of the Cardiac Care Unit at Victoria Hospital. Visitation will be held in the NEEDHAM FUNERAL CHAPEL, (520 Dundas St., London) on Monday December 29th, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral Service will be conducted at the London Gospel Temple on Tuesday December 30th, 2008 at 11 am with Pastor Robert Smith officiating. Interment to take place in Orillia at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the London Gospel Temple Heavenly Hamper Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. 11366139
