HURLEY, Dorothy M. - Peacefully, following months of declining health, Dorothy passed away at the Muskoka Heights Retirement Residence on Monday, December 8, 2008, in her 92nd year. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Elwood and is survived by her sons Robert of North Bay; Lawrence and his wife Evelyn of Belleville, Ontario; daughter Judy Burtch of Orillia and long-time friend Betty Hurley of North Bay. Born in Toronto and a resident of Orillia for 58 years, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Joe and Gladys Lamb and was predeceased by her brother Norman and sister Joan Stronach. She is survived by her brother Howard Lamb and his wife Norma of Nanaimo, B.C. Her extended family includes seven grandchildren,14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements for cremation are with the CARSON FUNERAL HOME, Orillia. No visitation or service.
