VAILLANCOURT, Edward “Pete” - Peacefully with family by his side at the Bancroft District Hospital on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Kay (nee Woods). Loving father of Gary (Pat) of Atlanta, Georgia, late Bruce (Rita) of Sudbury, ON and Cathy (Terry) Prentice of Maple Leaf, ON. Cherished grandpa of Scott, Terri Leigh, Abby, late Gary Jr., Jennifer, Tracy and Lori Ann Vaillancourt, Lance, Andrew and Brittney Prentice and great grandpa of Erin, Gavin, Grace and Jack. Dear brother of Eugene “Sparky” (Burtha) of Sudbury, ON. Predeceased by his brother Nelson (Ann) and his sister Hattie Cnte (Raoul), Alice Bartch (Hilton), Olive Boucher (George) and Beatrice “Tottie” (George). Friends may call at the ARTHUR FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Thursday, December 11, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Gerard Majella Church on Friday, December 12, 2008 at 11 am. Rev. Francis Ezenezi officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
