Dorothy Agnes NEHILEY

Mrs. Dorothy Agnes Currie March 19, 1920 - January 5, 2009 CURRIE, Dorothy Agnes "Dot" 88, White's Lake, passed away peacefully January 5, 2009, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was a daughter of the late Grace and Michael Nehiley of Halifax; predeceased by sister, Margaret and survived by sister, Kathleen. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Vince, less than a year ago. She is surivived by a son, Robert (Jo-Anne); daughters, Donna Silver (John), Patricia Gagne (Peter), and Denise Currie. She will be remembered lovingly by her grandchildren, Leslie, Patrick, Shawna, Stacie, Christiane (Chrissy), Stephanie, Thomas and Solenne. She will also be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren, Nehiley, Madia, Zoelle, Ethan and Cameron. She will be remembered also for her knitted sweaters, birthday cakes and lovely pieces of needlepoint and handwork. Special thanks to the staff at Drummond Hall. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 8, 7-9 p.m. at Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. A mass will be on Friday at 11 a.m., in St. Joseph's Church in Shad Bay.
