Mrs. Dorothy Alice Biefer (nee Hazen) August 5, 1916 - January 6, 2009 In her 93rd year on Tuesday, January 06, 2009 at Peel Manor in Brampton. Beloved wife of Ernest Biefer of 61 years. Much loved mother of Donald Biefer and Her Worship Mayor Susan Fennell (and her husband John Fennell). Cherished grandmother of Michael and Joseph Fennell. Dear sister of Hermine Beauchesne, Levina Hughes, Muriel Pilon and the late Ronald and George Hazen. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Harry Earle, and all the nurses and staff of Peel Manor for the wonderful, warm care and compassion they provided to Mom since 2003. Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home, 289 Main Street North (Hwy 10), Brampton (905) 451-1100 on Friday, January 09, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul’s United Church, 30 Main Street South, Brampton. Interment will follow at Meadowvale Cemetery, Brampton. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
