Dorothy Mae BARTER

GANONG, Dorothy Mae (nee Barter) 14 Oct. 1926 - 14 Jan. 2009 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our mother. Mourning are her children, Susan (Guy Lemieux), Fred (Karen), Beverley, Greg (Jenelle Perrier), and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and good friends. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Lois Cilcus, Toronto; Beulah Reid, Etobicoke; Elizabeth, Ottawa; Norma Vaillancourt, Nepean; Isabel, Ottawa; Shirley Hele, North Bay; William (Bill), Edmonton; Robert (Bob), Richmond, B.C.; David George (Joe), Streetsville; Mary Lamontagne, Ottawa; and Edward, Ottawa. Dorothy is now at peace and reunited with her parents, George Barter and Vera Mae (nee Fregin) and sister Gwen and brothers Donald, Earl, Fred, and Doug. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod St., on Sunday, January 18, 2009 from 2-4 to 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Matthias Anglican Church, 555 Parkdale Ave., (at the Queensway) on Monday, January 19 at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Pinecrest Cemetery.
