CLARK, Douglas Walter Sept. 22, 1925 - Jan. 29, 2009 (WW II Veteran; Member St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church; Retired Loblaws Employee) Passed away peacefully at the Perley & Rideau Veterans' Health Centre on Thursday, January 29, 2009. Douglas Walter Clark of Ottawa in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Beryl (nee Boehmer) for 59 years. Dear father of Susan Clark (Burrill Harriman) and Douglas (Janice) Clark Jr. Devoted grandfather of Andrew and Matthew Clark. Brother-in-law of Reverend John (Carol) Boehmer and uncle to David Boehmer, Waterloo. Half brother of Margaret (Ken) Potter of Kingston and Art (Shirley) Hill, Musquodoboit Harbour, N.S. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa, ON., on Sunday, February 1, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 272 Crichton Street, Ottawa on Monday, February 2 at 2:00 pm, with Reverend Joel Crouse officiating, assisted by Reverend John Boehmer. Interment National Military Cemetery, Beechwood Cemetery.
